These posters were created while studying various animals and their habitats. Photos of the animals and their surroundings were juxtaposed with illustrated shapes and patterns with a focus on composition of the posters. After finishing this project, I have a better understanding of various ways to create depth within a picture plane as well as transparencies and the different effects. While working on these posters, I started thinking about using photos as textures instead of just icons within a composition.
