Owala x SDZ Collaboration
Concepted as well as provided set design and art direction for the Owala x San Diego Zoo collaboration shoot.
I presented multiple concepts to Owala brand managers to ensure whatever came from this shoot was aligned with Owala’s brand. After working through various concepts, we landed on the idea to create a modular set with blocks of wood with different enviornments built on top. This was to reference the idea of a zoo being built of different wildlife habitats.
After landing on a concept, this was taken to set building. I worked with the San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance to make sure the habitats that were built on blocks were appropriate for a snake, leopard, and tiger to live in (those animals were what the patterns were based off of). After approval on the sets, we were able to shoot and create assets. The assets created were used for Owala’s website, social media, ads, as well as San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance’s catalog.
